Places
2023–present · Editor-in-chief · Pelikula / UP Film Institute
An extension of Pelikula’s editorial work, Places connects workshops and mentorship with writing grounded in particular communities. Its first dossier, published in 2025, grows from workshops begun in 2023 in Cagayan de Oro and General Santos. The dossier’s special issue editor is Elio Garcia. The second dossier is in the works, arising from the workshop in 2025 in Southern Tagalog.
